Description: Officer Reynolds was shot while making a traffic stop. The suspects were armed with a .22 caliber, Romo revolver. Officer Reynolds was attempting to gain control of the firearm when it fell to the ground and discharged. Officer Reynolds was shot in the abdomen. Officer Reynolds was able to return to his patrol vehicle and call for assistance. Officer Reynolds was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. His assailant was convicted of first degree murder.
