Description: Detective Raymond was shot while attempting to arrest a former member of the Butch Cassidy and Sundance Gang, Harry Tracy. King County Deputy John Williams was mortally wounded and died eight months later. A month prior, the suspect murdered Oregon Correctional Officers Bailey Tiffany, S. Thurston Jones and Frank Ferrell during his escape from prison and was the subject of an intense manhunt. Seattle Police Officer Enoch Breece and King County Posseman Neil Rowley were shot later that evening by the suspect as lawmen surrounded the house where he was hiding. On August 6, 1902, the suspect committed suicide after being wounded during a shootout with law enforcement officers.
