Description: Officer Randall was critically injured in an automobile accident when his patrol vehicle crashed head-on with Officer Roy Burnsed, another officer from his department. The accident happened on the L-5 levee near the Holey Land Wildlife Management Office in Florida's' Palm Beach County. Officer Burnsed was killed instantly. Officer Randall was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, where he died two day later. The Wildlife Officers were conducting inspections and patrols on the unpaved, poorly lit road when the accident occurred.
