Description: Sergeant Reyka was shot and killed while checking on two suspicious vehicles in a convenience store parking lot. As Sergeant Reyka exited his police vehicle to investigate, a suspect opened fire. Sergeant Reyka was shot several times in the head and upper chest. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
