Description: Officer Regan and his partner were responding to a 911 call when their cruiser collided with a newspaper delivery truck. Both officers had to be extricated from the wreckage. Officer Regan died at the scene. His partner, Officer Kenneth Waszak, was taken to the hospital with internal and spine injuries. Officer Waszak survived his injuries. The driver of the delivery truck was also killed.
