Description: Deputy Rancourt died of a heart attack during a dive team criminal investigation. Deputy Rancourt and the department's dive team were searching the Androscoggin River for stolen property when Deputy Rancourt resurfaced and signaled that he needed help. Fellow officers administered CPR until emergency services transported Deputy Rancourt to Central Maine Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
