Description: Deputy Rose, accompanied by two lawmen, entered the home of a suspect for whom they held a warrant. The suspect emerged from where he was hiding and shot Deputy Rose in the knee, hip and chest. Deputy Rose died at the scene. The suspect fled but was shot and killed while evading capture.
