Description: Officer Robertson and his partner Officer Gabram approached a car stopped on the side of the road, and as Officer Robertson neared the vehicle was shot without warning by a .12 gauge shotgun blast. Officer Gabram then shot into the car and when he ordered the occupants to surrender, a woman who had been taken captive by her former boyfriend exited. The man had fled into the woods and was caught seven and a half hours later after a huge man-hunt. The murderer was executed in the Ohio electric chair.
