Description: Deputy Robertson and Sheriff J. H. Ratliff arrested two men for theft of a tire. While en route to the jail, Sheriff Ratliff led the way driving the patrol car and Deputy Robertson road in the back seat of the suspect's car. The suspects kidnapped Deputy Robertson and shot him to death. His body was found the next day.
