Description: Officer Ryden and several officers responded to a reported fire in a local trailer park. As Officer Ryden arrived, a natural gas tank erupted and immediate evacuation of the trailer park was required. Officer Ryden ran to several trailers and evacuated the residents. After the evacuation was complete, Officer Ryden returned to his patrol vehicle and directed traffic around the trailer park. Officer Ryden was found in his patrol cruiser unresponsive. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead from a heart attack.
