Description: Officer Ramp was fatally shot while attempting to serve an eviction warrant. The police arrived at a residence with a warrant for several housing code violations. MOVE, a controversial back-to-nature group, had barricaded themselves inside the house. A confrontation erupted and Officer Ramp was shot. Several other officers were also wounded but survived. Officer Ramp was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Nine suspects were convicted of the murder and sentenced from 30 to 100 years in prison.
