Description: Deputy Reeves was shot when he asked an intoxicated patron to leave a dance hall. The man drew his weapon and shot Deputy Reeves once in the head killing him instantly. The suspect was arrested and taken into custody, but before Constable White could escort the suspect into the jail, they were approached by five men who shot and killed the suspect.
