Description: Officers Rose and George Scriven were questioning a man in connection with a gas station robbery that had occurred earlier. The suspect opened fire, killing Officer Rose instantly. Officer Scriven, who was shot but not seriously wounded, returned fire but was unable to apprehend the suspect.
