Description: Trooper Ross was killed when his cruiser was struck by a commercial vehicle while he was working a construction work zone. Although Trooper Ross's cruiser had its emergency lights flashing, the tractor-trailer ran into the back of it and flipped the cruiser over. Trooper Ross was pinned inside the cruiser when it became engulfed in flames.
