Description: Special Deputy Marshal Ramey and Special Deputy Marshal John Sloan were shot and killed by several moonshiners during a raid on a still in Pikeville, Kentucky. A third deputy marshal was severely wounded in the same incident. The marshals were killed with automatic weapons.
