Description: Reserve Deputy Sheriffs Roberts and Timothy Lowry were killed in an automobile crash while serving a felony warrant. A semi-truck conducted an illegal U-turn over the crest of a hill in the roadway. As the deputies cleared the hill, their patrol vehicle struck the semi-truck that was blocking both lanes of traffic. Both Deputy Roberts and Deputy Lowry died at the scene of the crash.
