Description: Corporal Roberts was shot and killed while investigating a suspicious person on the side of the road. Corporal Roberts stopped to question a man pushing a cart along the roadway. The man became agitated while being questioned, pulled a handgun from his cart, and fatally shot Corporal Roberts. Corporal Roberts was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The suspect surrendered a short time later after being discovered by a K-9 unit. The suspect had three handguns and an assault rifle in his possession.
