Description: Patrolman Ren was fatally shot as he attempted to arrest a suspect on an outstanding warrant. Patrolman Ren pulled the suspect over and approached the vehicle with his gun drawn. The suspect pulled a rifle and shot Patrolman Ren twice and fled the scene. The suspect, who was a mental patient, held two people hostage before he was arrested.
