Description: Patrolman Regan was shot and Lieutenant Charles Tschudi was wounded when they answered a domestic disturbance call regarding an intoxicated suspect. When the officers arrived at the residence, the suspect opened fire with a .38 revolver. Patrolman Regan died the scene. Lieutenant Tschudi was shot in the arm but survived. Responding officers returned fire and arrested the suspect.
