Description: Sheriff Richards and two lawmen went to serve a warrant to a man whose neighbor complained of threatening behavior regarding the mentally deranged man. As the lawmen approached the residence, the suspect opened fire, fatally striking Sheriff Richards. The lawmen returned fire and killed the suspect.
