Description: Sergeant Ryan and Cuyahoga County Prosecutor, John J. Mahon were nearing the end of a trip to pick up a suspect when Mahon's car rammed into the back of a car that had stopped suddenly in front of them. Mahon's car flipped over, seriously hurting Sergeant Ryan, causing him to die several hours later in the hospital.
