Description: Sergeant Rotolo and two other deputies tired to break up a fight between two inmates in the Monroe County Jail. During the struggle, Sergeant Rotolo was thrown against the wall by an inmate. Sergeant Rotolo immediately suffered a massive heart attack and slumped to the floor. He was transported to the local hospital where he remained in a coma for 11 days until his death on September 20.
