Description: Police Officer Rabain died in a single-vehicle crash while operating his take home department vehicle with the emergency lights activated. Officer Rabain was off-duty and transporting his girlfriend home in his take home department vehicle when he activated his emergency lights. He failed to negotiate a right turn, leaving the roadway and crashing into two wooden security fences. Officer Rabain was killed instantly. Officer Rabain's girlfriend sustained non-life threatening injuries.
