Description: Officer Rios suffered a fatal heart attack shortly after he and other officers were involved in a struggle with three juvenile suspects. The officers responded to a report of several vehicles being vandalized in a local neighborhood. When the officers attempted to question several juveniles they became belligerent and resisted arrest. Officer Rios and two other officers fought with the suspects and placed them all under arrest. Officer Rios collapsed after the suspects were placed in the patrol units. Officers began CPR immediately until emergency workers arrived on site. Officer Rios was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
