Description: Special Agents Regan and Edward Knartzer died in an airline accident when the TWA jet crashed in inclement weather in Virginia. The Agents were on authorized travel and in pay status. Agent Regan, of the Washington D.C. field office, had been assigned to guard the wife of the former attorney general due to threats against his life. The crew of seven and the other 83 passengers also died.
