Description: Police Matron Regan boarded an elevator at the House of Detention at City Hall. When Matron Rosa attempted to exit the elevator, she became caught between the elevator and the wall. The elevator operator was not present at the time. Matron Regan was transported to the hospital where she died of internal injuries the next day.
