Description: Deputy Sheriff Rhyne was shot and killed while responding to a trespassing call at a residence. Upon arriving at the scene, Deputy Rhyne was notified by dispatch that one of the two suspects had an outstanding warrant. As Deputy Rhyne attempted to take the suspect into custody, the suspect pulled out a gun and shot Deputy Rhyne in the head. The suspect then shot and killed himself. Deputy Rhyne was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
