Description: Lieutenant Robateau was struck and killed after he was involved in a traffic crash and exited his vehicle to render assistance to the other motorist. Lieutenant Robateau was on his way to work and in full uniform. Lieutenant Robateau was out of his vehicle and walking towards the other motorist to render assistance when he was struck by another vehicle and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
