Description: Deputy Sheriff Roberts drowned when his patrol car was swept away by fast-rising waters after he responded to a 911 hang-up call. Deputy Roberts radioed dispatch that his patrol vehicle was being swept off the road by the water. Deputy Roberts was found the next day after the floodwaters receded.
