Description: Police Officer Romrell was intentionally struck and killed by a vehicle fleeing from a burglary. Officer Romrell and other responding officers arrived on scene and the suspects left in a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle accelerated toward the officers and struck Officer Romrell. Officer Romrell was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The suspect who was driving was shot and killed and the passenger was apprehended.
