Description: Motorcycle Officer Ross was struck by a trailer as he stood next to a motorist that he had stopped for speeding. The trailer was being towed by a vehicle that hit a pothole and swerved, striking Officer Ross. Officer Ross was transported to the hospital with a fractured skull and died several hours later.
