Description: Police Officer Risher was injured as he attempted to arrest a driver who did not have a license. Officer Risher jumped on the running board of the vehicle and the driver swerved several times to dislodge him. The driver then sideswiped a post and Officer Risher fell to the pavement. Officer Risher was transported to the hospital where he died of a fractured skull five days later. The driver was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to 20 years in prison.
