Description: Patrolman Ray succumbed to gunshot wounds received one month earlier while responding to a burglary call. A store owner had arrived to work and discovered that a burglary had taken place and called police. However, the suspect was still inside the store and robbed the owner after he made the call. When Patrolman Ray entered the store, the suspect attempted to flee. The suspect shot Patrolman Ray twice as he fled.
