Description: Officer Rauch was shot and killed from ambush while on patrol. Officer Rauch's body was found lying face-up with a gunshot wound to the torso. His right hand was still in his pocket and his left hand clutching his stick in a natural fashion indicating that he was caught by surprise and had no time to react.
