Description: Chief Renfro was walking with his wife when he heard shots fired near the local church. Chief Renfro went to investigate and came upon two men at the scene. Chief Renfro questioned the men and then prepared to do a search when one of the men shot him in the chest. Chief Renfro died of his injuries the next morning.
