Description: Patrolman Romain was fatally shot as he attempted to arrest several men who were causing a public disturbance. When Patrolman Romain told the boisterous men to disperse, they surrounded and attacked him. One of the men held Patrolman Romain while another man gained control of his service weapon and shot him. Patrolman Romain died at the scene.
