Description: Trooper Stewart was killed in an automobile crash when he and his partner were in a collision with a garbage truck. The truck attempted to turn left and the front of the patrol vehicle made contact with the garbage truck. Trooper Stewart suffered a head injury and was pronounced dead at the scene. The second trooper was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
