Description: Police Officer Schaberger was killed when he was pushed over a porch railing by a suspect involved in a domestic disturbance incident. As Officer Schaberger and fellow officers attempting to handcuff the suspect, the suspect began violently resisting. The suspect pushed Officer Schaberger over the railing, causing him to fall nine feet to a cement stairwell below. Officer Schaberger was transported to a nearby hospital where he died. The suspect was charged with murder.
