Description: Patrolman Schneider was on patrol when he saw a lot of brick and lumber in the street. Patrolman Schneider spotted the contractor in the cellar and walked over to him to inquire about the obstruction. As Patrolman Schneider stepped from the street to the planks that led to the cellar, the planks gave way. He tumbled down the stairs and struck his head on a large stone. Patrolman Schneider died of his injuries before the ambulance arrived.
