Description: Deputy Shavers arrived at the scene where a robbery suspect was apprehended. As another Officer patted down the suspect, the man lunged at Deputy Shavers, took his service weapon and began shooting. Deputy Shavers was shot several times with his own gun. The suspect was convicted of murder and was sentenced to life in prison.
