Description: The Anchorage Police Department had been experiencing several armed robberies around the Christmas Holiday season. Officer Strong, volunteered his off days for a stake-out assignment at the Government Hill Liquor store. Two masked men enter the liquor store at gun point, and forced the clerk into the back room. Officer Strong was shot and killed as he attempted to stop the robbery in progress.
