Description: Lieutenant Scruggs was killed in a single-vehicle crash while responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle. The suspicious vehicle was reported to be fleeing a bank that had recently been robbed. Lieutenant Scrugg's department vehicle suddenly left the road and flipped over several times. Lieutenant Scruggs was airlifted to a hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
