Description: Patrolman Spicer was shot and killed as he and his partner attempted to stop a group of robbery suspects. The suspects came to an abrupt stop in their car. When the officers blocked the driver's side to prevent the suspects from escaping, Patrolman Spicer was fatally shot. The other officer was also shot and severely wounded, but survived.
