Description: Patrolman Sundstrom and his partner were responding to assist at a three alarm fire. While en route, the police motorcycle-side car he was riding in, collided with a fire engine. Patrolman Sundstrom was thrown from the sidecar and suffered a fractured skull, lacerated brain, and internal injuries. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
