Description: Sergeant Shavehead died from injuries received while attempting to arrest the well-known Sioux leader, Sitting Bull. Five other officers were also killed in this incident: Private Paul Akicitah, Officer John Armstrong, Officer David Hawkman, Lieutenant Henry Bullhead and Sergeant James Little Eagle.
