Description: Chief Stricker attempted to stop a vehicle which fit the description of a reported stolen car. Chief Stricker stepped off of the curb and flagged the car to stop. Instead, the driver sped up. Chief Stricker fired several warning shots. The driver leaned out of the car window and returned fire, killing Chief Stricker. The suspect was caught a week later and tried for the crime. The suspect received a life sentence.
