Description: Patrolman Sciolto was directing traffic at a local construction site which connected with the Interstate. He was struck by a vehicle and thrown 40 feet into the air. Patrolman Sciolto was wearing a reflective vest and carried a red flag at the time of the accident. Emergency units pronounced Patrolman Sciolto dead at the scene. Suspect driver was charged with operating a vehicle to endanger.
