Description: Investigator Sherrill succumbed to injuries sustained in an automobile accident two days earlier while responding to a call. Investigator Sherrill was responding to a domestic disturbance call, with emergency lights activated, when his department vehicle was broadsided by another vehicle at the intersection of U.S. Highway 59. Investigator Sherrill was transported to a local hospital where he remained until his death two days later.
