Description: Shot. Attempting other arrest. Deputy Souders and five other detectives were investigating a holdup of a Textile Building. As Deputy Sounders approached one of the suspects, the suspect produced a weapon and a gun fight ensued. As a result of the gunfight, Deputy Souders was killed and 5 other detectives wounded.
