Description: Officer Starks was killed in an automobile accident while responding to back-up an officer who was involved in a high speed pursuit. While responding, Officer Starks' patrol car collided with another patrol car at the intersection of Oleander and DeSoto Avenue. Officer Starks was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Friendly action.
